Our Hastelloy C276 sheets and plates comply with ASTM B575 / ASME SB-575. UNS N10276 (Werkstoff Nr. 2.4819) contains approximately 57% nickel, 15-17% molybdenum, 14.5-16.5% chromium, and 3-4.5% tungsten. This alloy has a tensile strength of nearly 790 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 355 MPa. We stock Alloy C276 plate and sheet in hot-rolled, cold-rolled, strip, coil, shim, and foil forms. Sheet thickness ranges from 0.5 to 6.0 mm; plate from 6.0 to 100 mm, with widths of 1000 to 2500 mm and lengths up to 6000 mm. All material ships in the solution-annealed condition (1121°C / 2050°F, rapid quench) with a tensile strength of 790 MPa and a yield strength of 355 MPa. High molybdenum (15-17%) and chromium (14.5-16.5%) content gives Nickel Alloy C276 resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. It also has a good resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrobromic acid, and phosphoric acid.

The carbon ceiling of 0.01% max prevents carbide precipitation during welding, so Alloy C276 sheets and plates keep full corrosion resistance in the as-welded state without post-weld heat treatment.
