No preheat is needed. Interpass temperature must stay at or below 93°C (200°F). Use 100% argon shielding for GTAW. For GMAW, use argon-based mixtures only: 100% Ar, Ar/He, or Ar/He/CO₂ with no more than 2.5% CO₂. Pure CO₂ is not permitted.
