The 1.3–1.9% copper sets Hastelloy C2000 flanges apart from every other Ni-Cr-Mo forged flange on the market. That deliberate copper addition gives Alloy C-2000 (UNS N06200, Werkstoff 2.4675) dual-environment capability. Molybdenum at 15–17% handles reducing acids (H₂SO₄, HCl, HF), while chromium at 22–24% resists oxidising media contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen. It has a tensile strength of 690 MPa (100 ksi) min, a yield strength of 310 MPa (45 ksi), and an elongation of 45%. Available types of Nickel alloy C2000 types are WNRF, BLRF, SORF, SWRF, threaded, lap joint, LWN, RTJ, spectacle blind, and reducing. We supply these flanges in sizes ranging from NPS 1/2”–24” (ASME B16.5); NPS 26”–60” (ASME B16.47). Available classes include 150 through 2500. These flanges are solution annealed at 1149°C (2100°F).

The 1.3–1.9% copper is the defining chemistry. No other Ni-Cr-Mo alloy includes deliberate Cu for acid resistance. Copper boosts sulfuric acid performance across all concentrations to 98%. Cr at 22–24% handles oxidising media; Mo at 15–17% covers reducing acids and pitting. The 0.010% C and 0.08% Si ceilings prevent weld HAZ precipitation, allowing as-welded service without PWHT.

Typical mill results: tensile 752 MPa (109 ksi), yield 359 MPa (52 ksi), elongation 64%. The 45% minimum elongation gives excellent forgeability for complex flange shapes. Solution annealing at 1149°C (2100°F) followed by water quench sets full corrosion performance.
