Nickel Alloy Flanges Supplier in Mumbai, India
Nicorex Alloys is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified supplier, stockist, and dealer of nickel flanges in Mumbai, India. We stock Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 flanges from 1/2 to 48 inch NB under ASTM B564 / ASME SB564 in classes 150 through 2500 per ANSI/ASME B16.5.
Both grades have a minimum combined content of nickel and cobalt of at least 99.0%, as well as resistance to caustic alkalis in all concentrations. Nickel 200 has a maximum content of 0.15% carbon, while Nickel 201 has a maximum content of 0.02% carbon, which requires operation to be above 600°F (315°C) to prevent graphitisation from occurring. Mill test certificates to EN 10204/3.1B are included with all shipments.

Available Grades of Nickel Flanges
Nickel 200 Flange
Nickel 200 is a commercially pure nickel alloy with high corrosion resistance and good mechanical strength. It is used in chemical and industrial applications at temperatures below 600°F (315°C).
Nickel 201 Flange
Nickel 201 is a pure nickel alloy with very low carbon content. It is designed for use in high-temperature and corrosive environments. It is found in chemical, food, and industrial equipment because it resists corrosion and performs well above 600°F (315°C).
Industries and Applications of Nickel Flanges
- Chemical Processing & Chlor-Alkali: Pipes for caustic soda evaporators, Chlor-Alkali cell joints, and NaOH tank flanges.
- Electronics & Electroplating: Plating bath piping and electrochemical cell assemblies.
- Food Processing: connections for fatty acid, dairy, and alkaline cleaning equipment.
- Marine & Water Treatment: Seawater distillation and desalination equipment.
- Pharmaceutical & Synthetic Fibre: Reactor vessels and high-purity process piping.
- Power Generation & Nuclear: Combustion system joints and nuclear fuel handling.
- Pulp, Paper & Textile: Caustic recovery piping and bleaching equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What ASTM Standards Cover Nickel Flanges?
When should Nickel 201 be used instead of Nickel 200?
How should Nickel Flanges be Welded?
Use ERNi-1 filler per AWS A5.14 for GTAW and ENi-1 per AWS A5.11 for SMAW. Keep interpass below 300°F. Do not use oxyacetylene welding.
