Nicorex Alloys is an ISO 9001/ISO 14001-certified supplier of Super Duplex S32750 sheets and plates based in Mumbai, India. UNS S32750 (Werkstoff 1.4410, EN X2CrNiMoN 25-7-4), also known as SAF 2507, is a high-performance flat product manufactured to ASTM A240 / ASME SA240. 

A balanced 50/50 austenite-ferrite microstructure with 25% Cr, 4% Mo, 7% Ni, and 0.27% N delivers a PREN ≥ 40 (typical ~42) and a critical pitting temperature (CPT) of ~65°C in 1M NaCl. Our Super Duplex Grade F53, as per ASTM A182, has a minimum yield strength of 550 MPa and a tensile strength of 800 MPa. Our material meets the requirements of NACE MR0175 and is ferromagnetic with a density of 7800 kg/m³. Our material maintains its strength properties up to a melting point of 1350°C and has a maximum hardness of 32 HRC.

We supply Super Duplex S32750 sheets and plates in a wide size range for demanding seawater and high-pressure applications. Sheets are 0.5-6 mm thick and plates 6-80 mm, with widths from 1000 to 2500 mm and lengths up to 6000 mm. Available forms include hot rolled plate, cold rolled sheet, strip, coil, chequered and perforated plate, plus clad plate to ASTM A264. Material is solution annealed and pickled for optimal corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Standard finishes are No.1, 2B, 2D, and BA. Each delivery includes EN 10204 3.1 MTC, PMI testing, and full traceability.

Corrosion Resistance of Super Duplex S32750 Sheet & Plate

S32750 plates resist pitting up to ~65°C in 1M NaCl and crevice corrosion to ~35°C in 10% FeCl₃, about twice Duplex 2205. They show excellent chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance. In dilute H₂SO₄ + chloride, Alloy 2507 beats 904L. The grade is NACE MR0175 compliant.
Note: S32750 is susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement due to the ferritic phase. This limits H₂ storage and cathodic protection use unless hardness is per NACE MR0175.

Hot Working, Cold Forming & Heat Treatment of Super Duplex S32750

Hot form at 1020-1230°C. Solution anneal at ≥1100°C + rapid water quench. Cold forming needs higher forces than Duplex 2205, an intermediate anneal for severe work. Weld by GTAW, SMAW, or SAW using Zeron 100X matching filler (Cu + W). ERNiCrMo-14 for dissimilar joints. Ar + N₂ shielding. Interpass ≤100°C. No preheat or PWHT. ASTM A923 testing is recommended post-weld.
