Inconel Sheet & Plate Supplier in Mumbai, India
Nicorex Alloys is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified stockist and supplier of Inconel sheet and plate, headquartered in Mumbai, India. We stock Inconel flat products in multiple grades, such as Inconel 600, 625, 718, Incoloy 800, and Incoloy 825. Every grade ships in thicknesses from 0.5 to 100 mm, widths up to 2500 mm, and surface finishes ranging from No.1 hot-rolled to BA bright-annealed. All the Inconel flat products are manufactured to the applicable ASTM and ASME standards.
Inconel is a family of nickel-chromium-based superalloys. These alloys form a layer of oxide at elevated temperatures to resist oxidation. They also have the ability to hold full mechanical strength at temperatures above 1000°F (538°C), well past the point where stainless steels lose strength to creep. Industries that rely on Inconel flat products include aerospace and defence, oil and gas (upstream and downstream), chemical processing, and heat treatment equipment manufacturing. All shipments carry EN 10204/3.1B mill test certificates, PMI reports, and full traceability documentation.

What are Inconel Sheets and Plates?
Inconel sheets and plates are flat-form metal products manufactured from nickel-chromium superalloys. These alloys are made to hold strength and resist oxidation at temperatures where carbon steels and stainless steels soften, creep, or corrode.
Sheets are thinner flat products, typically under 6 mm, used for lighter-gauge fabrication, ductwork, and formed parts. Plates measure 6 mm and above and serve heavy fabrication roles, such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and structural members running at high temperatures.
Hot rolling heats the alloy above its recrystallisation temperature and rolls it into thicker plates. Cold rolling works near room temperature, producing thinner sheets with tighter tolerances and smoother finishes. The base metal (nickel) provides Inconel with high-temperature stability. Chromium adds oxidation and corrosion resistance, while additional elements such as molybdenum, niobium, iron, cobalt, and titanium vary by grade to target specific properties like creep resistance, fatigue life, or acid resistance.
Compared to stainless steels like 304 and 316, Inconel alloys retain full mechanical strength above 1000°F (538°C) and resist oxidation, carburisation, and chloride stress corrosion cracking under conditions that would degrade austenitic stainless grades within weeks.

Available Grades of Inconel Sheets & Plates
Inconel grade families cover a wide range of high-temperature and corrosion-resistant applications. Each grade uses nickel-chromium as its base and is designed for different operating conditions through additional alloying elements.
Inconel 600 Sheet & Plate
A solid-solution-strengthened Ni-Cr alloy with 76% Ni and 15.5% Cr. It resists oxidation at high temperatures and corrosion from a broad range of organic and inorganic compounds. Primary uses: furnace components, chemical processing vessels, and nuclear steam generator tubing. Standard: ASTM B168.
Inconel 625 Sheet & Plate
A Ni-Cr-Mo-Nb alloy with exceptional fatigue strength and corrosion resistance from cryogenic temperatures to 1800°F (982°C). Resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and seawater attack. NACE MR0175 listed for sour gas service. Standard: ASTM B443.
Inconel 718 Sheet & Plate
The most widely used superalloy globally. Precipitation-hardenable, with outstanding strength from –253°C to 1300°F (704°C) and excellent weldability. NACE MR0175 compliant when solution annealed and aged to 40 HRC max. Standard: ASTM B670.
Incoloy 800 Sheet & Plate
A Ni-Fe-Cr alloy built for long-term high-temperature strength plus resistance to oxidation, carburisation, and sulfidation. Serves petrochemical furnace components, reformer tubes, and heat exchangers. Standard: ASTM B409.
Incoloy 825 Sheet & Plate
A Ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu alloy that resists sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, seawater, and stress corrosion cracking. Widely used in chemical processing, oil and gas, and pollution control equipment. Standard: ASTM B424.
