This alloy contains 26-29% chromium, 3.5-5.2% nickel, 1.0-2.5% molybdenum, and 0.15-0.35% nitrogen. This nickel-lean composition works excellently in terms of chloride resistance at a lower cost. F52 round bars contain remarkable mechanical properties that let you save weight in structural designs. Its Minimum yield strength reaches 485 MPa (70 ksi), minimum tensile strength hits 690 MPa (100 ksi), and the PREN falls in the 34-38 range, giving this grade strong pitting and crevice corrosion performance in seawater and chloride-bearing process streams. Such round bars are used in structures that require more durability.
