Where chemical plants handle H₂SO₄, HCl, HF, and oxidising acids in rotation, C2000 bolting eliminates the need to stock multiple alloy grades. The 1.3–1.9% copper is unique to C2000 among many Ni-Cr-Mo alloys. Cu provides sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid resistance that C276 and C22 cannot match.
