Inconel Fasteners

Inconel Fasteners Supplier in Mumbai, India

Nicorex Alloys is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified importer, stockist, and supplier of Inconel fasteners in Mumbai, India. We stock grades 600, 601, 625, 718, and X-750 as hex bolts, nuts, studs, screws, washers, and threaded rods under ASTM F467, ASTM F468, and ASTM B637.

Inconel is a nickel-chromium superalloy. These alloys hold clamping force from cryogenic to 2200°F (1093°C), where standard steel fasteners fail. Products serve aerospace, oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, nuclear, and marine industries. All shipments carry EN 10204/3.1B mill test certificates.

We stock a wide range of Inconel Fasteners in multiple grades, including:

What are Inconel Fasteners?

Inconel fasteners are joining hardware made from nickel-chromium superalloys. These are produced from round bar stock through hot forging or cold heading, then machining and thread rolling. Inconel 625 gains strength through solid-solution strengthening. Inconel 718 uses precipitation hardening and provides higher strength than 625. Inconel 718 holds full bolt load to 1300°F (704°C), while Inconel 625 resists corrosion to 1000°F (982°C).

Available Grades of Inconel Fasteners

Nicorex Alloys stocks Inconel fasteners in 5 grades. Each grade has its own features.

Inconel 600 Fasteners

Solid-solution strengthened with oxidation resistance to 2000°F (1093°C). Used for furnace bolting and nuclear reactor fasteners.

Inconel 601 Fasteners

High chromium (21 to 25%) gives oxidation resistance to 2200°F (1200°C). Used for thermal processing and exhaust system fasteners.

Inconel 625 Fasteners

The most widely used Inconel grade for corrosion-resistant fasteners. NACE MR0175 listed. Minimum tensile 930 MPa. It complies with ASTM F467/F468 and AMS 5666 standards.

Inconel 718 Fasteners

Precipitation-hardenable with higher strength than 625. Creep-rupture strength to 1300°F (704°C). NACE MR0175 compliant at 40 HRC max. AMS 5663 and API 6A718 standards govern this grade.

Inconel X-750 Fasteners

Precipitation-hardenable with strong relaxation resistance. Used for gas turbine bolting and nuclear reactor internals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of Inconel fasteners are available?
At Nicorex Alloys, Inconel fasteners like hex bolts, socket head cap screws, stud bolts (double-end studs), hex nuts (heavy hex, lock, flange), flat and spring washers, belleville washers, threaded rods, U-bolts, set screws, 12-point bolts, eye bolts, and anchor bolts are available in grades 600, 601, 625, 718, and X-750 with UNC, UNF, and metric threads.
Inconel 625 is solid-solution strengthened for corrosion resistance (tensile ~930 MPa). Inconel 718 is precipitation-hardened with roughly double the strength for loads up to 1300°F. Choose 625 for corrosion and 718 when strength is the main concern.
ASTM F467 covers nuts. ASTM F468 covers bolts, screws, and studs. ASTM B637 covers 718 forgings. ASTM F2281 covers nickel alloy bolts. API 6A718 covers wellhead bolting.
A193 B7 bolts lose strength above 750°F. Inconel 718 holds creep-rupture strength to 1300°F. Inconel 625 resists corrosion to 1000°F. Both resist chloride stress corrosion cracking.
Nickel alloys can gall if assembled dry. Use PTFE/Xylan coating, molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂), or silver plating.
AMS 5662 specifies Inconel 718 in the solution annealed condition (the softest and most machinable state). AMS 5663 specifies Inconel 718 in the precipitation-hardened (aged) condition, which is significantly harder and stronger, with maximum mechanical properties. For critical bolting, AMS 5663 is typically specified; the AMS 5662 bar is the starting material.
ASTM F468 covers 1/4″ (M6) to 1-1/2″ (M36). Larger sizes up to 4″ (M100) come from ASTM B637 bar stock.
