- High Temperature Alloys Welding Wire
High temperature alloys welding wire is filler metal designed to join superalloys that operate above 500°C. These wires deposit weld metal that keeps its strength, resists oxidation, and stays stable under prolonged heat exposure. Engineers use high temperature alloy filler wire when the welded joint must perform as well as the base metal in extreme thermal conditions.
Key features of these filler wires include high creep strength at elevated temperatures, strong resistance to oxidation and hot corrosion, thermal fatigue resistance through repeated heating cycles, and sound metallurgical bonding with nickel-based and cobalt-based superalloys.
Engineers select high temperature alloys welding wire because standard filler metals lose strength and fail in hot service. These wires match the base metal chemistry. They prevent weld joint failures in parts exposed to thermal cycling and aggressive hot gas environments. Common applications include gas turbine hot-section parts, heat treatment furnace components, petrochemical cracking tubes, jet engine exhaust assemblies, industrial heating elements, and power generation boiler tubing.
Nicorex Alloys is a Mumbai-based supplier and stockist of high temperature alloy filler wire. We supply these grades to power generation, aerospace, and petrochemical industries across India. Our company sources and stocks these products from recognised global producers.
